The second Harry Potter scarf is moving along... a bit slower than the first I'm afraid. I just feel pretty bored by the whole process now. The fact that it consists of knitting only doesn't help - at least if I were actually creating the stocking stitch I might be slightly more interested.

So the boredom has set me thinking about what I'm going to make next. I feel like I'd quite like to make something for me... I don't think in all my time of knitting that I'd ever made anything for myself so it seems like the time has finally come. So I think I've decided on Zeeby's bag from SNB, and the Irish Hiking Scarf that I seem to be seeing in loads of places. I feel the time has come for me to tackle cables. Everyone keeps telling me they look far more complicated than they actually are. Here's hoping!
