New Project

I've been itching to start knitting again since I saw the seafoam stitch scarf that Gemma is currently constructing. My current calculation is that it has been about 9 weeks since I last picked up a pair of pins. For me that is some break.

The seafoam stitch makes me think that it make a good scarf for my mom. Being that she's vaguely menopausal at the moment, she just doesn't seem to feel the cold like the rest of the world. The nice airy nature of the stitch would mean she could have a nice scarf for those days when it is bitterly cold, but it won't make her feel too muffled. Seems to me that all that is left is for me to go and buy yarn and needles. Hurrah!!
